Tecate, MEXICO is on the border of east San Diego, California and Baja, Mexico. In the mountains of East County only 55 minutes from downtown
San Diego on old Highway 94. Famous for its brewery, but also a glimpse of life in a non-tourist Mexican village. Visits to Tecate can include a tour of the Tecate Brewery, a large beer factory central to the city.
Tecate also boasts a famous spa, the Rancho la Puerta, where you can enjoy a day of relaxation. Or head east to the resort campgrounds of 'Hacienda Santa Veronica or 'Rancho los Chabacanos'!
