back' in the late 80s there were 3 or 4 coffee houses in San Diego- The now gone 'Java' at 8th/'G' St. downtown, the Kensington Coffee Co., Upstart Crow in Seaport Village, the Pannikin in La Jolla and 'Gelato Vera' in 'Middletown'. Today you can find a dozen coffee houses just downtown! |
