Join us on a tour through the backcountry of San Diego as we head to the mountain village of Tecate, Mexico to join in the celebrations of the 1910 Mexican Revolution! We'll stop for breakfast at the local village of Dulzura, pass through the mountain lake village of Barrett on our way to Tecate where we will watch parades, costumes, music and sample local food! We'll finish the day back at the Viejas Casino for dinner and shopping! for more information on the Mexican Revolution check out these sites!- Tecate, MEXICO is on the border of San Diego, California and Baja, Mexico. In the mountains of East County only 55 minutes from downtown San Diego on old Highway 94. Famous for its brewery, but also a glimpse of life in a non-tourist Mexican village.
